Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken over the probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The CBI has been acting swiftly and since its arrival in Mumbai, several people linked to the late actor, including Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani, Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, and others have been questioned by the CBI. Now, reports on the Internet state that the late actor’s family will be summoned. According to a report in CNN News 18, Sushant’s sister Meetu Singh has now been summoned and she will be questioned tomorrow.

CNN News 18 reports that Sushant’s sister Meetu Singh, who resides in Mumbai, has been summoned by CBI and that she will reportedly appear before the officials at DRDO guest house in Mumbai on Monday at 11 am. This will be the first time any of Sushant’s family members are being summoned by the CBI. The report also states that apart from Meetu, other family members of Sushant will be questioned in Delhi and won’t be asked to come down to Mumbai.

The report also stated that Sushant’s sister Meetu Singh will likely be questioned about Sushant’s mental health after June 8, the day Rhea Chakraborty left the apartment.


Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty, while speaking to India Today opened up about the last message she received from Sushant Singh Rajput. She said that while she left Sushant’s residence on June 8, she got a text from him on June 9, which read, “How are you my bebu?” after which she blocked him. Read more about it here.
